65daysofstatic
Apr. 12th, 2008 11:18 amTook moj to see 65daysofstatic last night. It was in he Indig02 inside the 02 (that's the millenium dome to you and me). The support acts were awful, but 65days are pretty hard to pick support for so that was probably forgiveable.
The indig02 was a pretty shitty venue. The bar prices OBSENE even by london standards, I'm guessing thats because they charge the same as they do in the main 02 arena. But really the gig would have been far better in one of London's millions of good gig venues, but still..
The main event was really good. I was surprised to learn that 65 days of static were from sheffield, and also that it was physically possible to play a lot of their tracks with a real drummer (who I suspect must have been some kind of machine). Really good!
